VORT3X proudly designed the campaign for GSC Aurum Theatre‘s Hari Raya 2023 entitled ‘Malam Menjelang Raya’.
We proposed the idea of using Wayang Kulit as a theme, but with a twist – The Wayang Kulit characters are based on pop-culture figures.
TinToy Chuo of Fusion Wayang Kulit was engaged to create 2 new characters for the MOU signing between GSC and Coca-Cola Refreshments Malaysia. The 2 unique characters were designed after the 2 collaborating brands’ identity colours and trademarks. These puppets were used as part of the campaign’s key visuals.
The Wayang Kulit figures were used to adorn the interior of Aurum Theatre’s foyer, poster walkway and theatre hallway. VORT3X also created a short animated video featuring the Wayang Kulit puppets used in the campaign to increase both digital and on-ground engagement.
